We opened Creme de la Couture on August 3, 2010! That was almost 2 years ago… where does the time go? Oh and thank GOD that terrible T-Boz haircut is grown! I thought it might be fun to reflect a bit on some of the fun we had as a brick and mortar shop. Honestly, I like our new direction, those 2 years were INSANE. Not always in a good way. However, we did have a great time most of the time.
Our first big event was our fashion show launch at the JW Marriot Cherry Creek Second Home. “Roaring Parisian Chic, an Affair to Remember.” My team was brilliant! We were totally decorating a location and planning a huge event at the same time. When I say decorating, I mean full on painting, building, cutting tile… We were “do it yourselfers”. If I learned anything from that mess its that hiring someone is much cheaper and more efficient.
We were so excited about the show. It wasn’t cheap, but it was so wonderful!

The models were fantastic! The atmosphere and crowd were equally gorgeous! It was a fantastic evening!
